To bang or not to bang?

So I'm at a crossroad with my hair. I've been growing it out and working with my natural wave and trying to make it look like this picture. The problem is I always have it pulled back unless I'm at church and I pull my bangs behind my ears and I look all forehead and flat! I've always had bangs and I kinda miss them. I don't know what to do! I hate my hair!

Ok, you realize that she has specialists that spend hours on her hair, just to make it look like they didn't spend hours on her hair? Right?
I know what you mean though. That growing out stage is always the hardest. I'd say, keep trying, it will get there and then once it's there, then you decide if you want to cut it. I've always been the impulse cutter, until recently. I love my hair longer now.

I have to say that your hair looked amazing last time you taught in RS at church! I LOVED it...and forgot to mention it to you. I can relate to wanting bangs when I don't have them...but once I have them they bug me, and I can't pull all of my hair back when I want it all out of my face. I guess you just have to figure out what works best with who you are. I'm sure bangs would look cute, but would they bug you while you're at the gym? Either way I'm sure you'll look great! :)

Nikster, Nikster, Nikster!! Your hair is always beautiful!! Even in a ponytail. I think that you should keep on it. let it grow somemore, no bangs yet!!! Since the bangs are in a weird stage go get some little clippies and put back just the bangs so they are
out of the way for a little while. your young and hip so let the bangs grow for a little while and get over the hump!!!

Tara's exactly right. Do you know how many hours it probably took for them to make her hair look natural? It's hard to tell what your haircut is right now, but here is my suggestion. Get a hair cut with long layers. Tell them to use your bangs as your shortest layer. This will make your bangs blend in better with the rest of your hair and you might like it a little more. Good luck!!

I have noticed how GREAT your hair style looks lately, so I'm liking whatever you're doing!!

I hadn't had bangs for years, and then my young, hip sis in law hair stylist moves here and changed up my hair with BANGS! She says the full bang is the latest look.

I was already considering it, and I'm glad I did it. On quick hairstyle days, I can just ponytail my hair, and if my bangs are blown dry, it's an EASY,FAST cute hairstyle!

I've always wanted to grow mine out, but can never get past the mid stage of ugghh! I'm there right now... cut? keep growing? What to do?
I've always liked your hair. I like how you can change it up! I think you should keep going if you're that close, and then decide. I love the length of it right now. I was noticing it in RS today. You always look fab!
