More prop.8 madness

So the other day I was at a stop light and I hear someone yelling at me "Gay people deserve to be married too!" Obviously he opposes prop.8 and my bumper sticker annoyed him so much he thought it was o.k. to yell at me and my children, ya know the whole equal rights bit yada yada, it was a very long light anyways Jacob yells out the window "yes on 8" we all started chanting, it was fun.
Today Jacob came home from school and tells me "I told Jed to encourage his parents to vote yes on prop.8" He said "of coarse they are voting yes, if they don't some guy might ask me to marry him, gross!" Kids tell it like it is!

Good for you guys. People who are opposing Prop 8 are ignorant to the fact it doesn't change anyone's "rights". Yes on 8!

That is so funny!!! I can't believe that guy yelled at you though, actually, I can. It's a sad world we live in these days. Go Prop 8!!

What gets me is that the "no" on prop 8 people are supposed to be "accepting" of everyone's choices. But they don't accept our choice to defend marriage. In other words, they only "accept" people that think like them. Can you say, "hypocritical"?

So funny... and TRUE. The kids get it- it's simple truth! Tonight is the night! Steve has been a fantastic district leader. You guys are awesome and we're proud to stand with you for what's right!

Go Prop 8! I loved waving signs with you yesterday! Remember when you turned to me a couple months ago and said "Can we do it? Can we walk and knock on doors?" I was just as scared as you... yet look at you now! A true warrior to the cause! You're a great example Nikki! And a great Mom for teaching your kids what's right. Keep it up!
