Ginger Dee Clinton R.I.P. 7/20/08

My friend from church, Ginger, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning. She had a seizure in her sleep and her heart stopped. She was 33 and in good health. She leaves behind a great husband and 4 beautiful children ages 7,6,3, and 1 years old. Our ward is devestated. We were out of town so I got word late and it took me a while to process it. It still doesn't seem real. The funeral was on my birthday and I couldn't believe how many people were there, The Thousand Oaks Stake center was full, people were standing in the back. This is no suprise how could you not love Ginger? I'm looking at the program with her face and I just cannot believe it? What I do know for sure is that she is with our father in heaven and I will see her again. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation and that I know these things are true. I can't imagine going through death, especially when it has happened way too soon, without God and a testimony of Jesus Christ. My favorite, most recent memory of Ginger is on the 4th of July. We were at the Emery's swimming pool. I am really tan and sometimes it is kind of embarassing, like I lay out all day..I swear I use SPF30,Steve calls me his little lamanite, anyways Ginger showed up and she was really tan too! I said to her "Ging, I am so glad your here, I hate being the only dark person." We had so much fun that day, I was doing all my tricks for her daughters. At the b.b.q after we all sat around chatting. I really am glad she was there that day and I got that time with her. I will miss her so much. Please say a prayer for her family.

Oh no! How sad. That's crazy that she just went like that. I will pray for her family. Her poor kids. It must be hard on her husband to.

Heather told me, and I'm so sorry for you and all that loved her and will pray for her family.

Everyone in MP1 is in my thoughts. Amy Jensen shared her testimony today, and told about Ginger and how much it taught her that we need to trust in Heavenly Father's plan (because he knows so much more than we do). It's so hard to have that perspective, though! Love ya guys!
