Back to the same old same old.........

Well the holidays are over. Jacob went back to school today and I'm a little depressed. I absolutly hate school. I hate the morning rush, making his lunch, feeding the other two, waking him up, hurrying him to eat, get dressed, brush his teeth and hair, don't forget your backpack! Now that it is cold I also have to dress the other two and one of them hates to wear clothes, warm up the car, buckle the other two into their seats all by 8:15! Lucky for me the school is only 2 minutes away! Atleast he walks home! Now I have homework to look forward to and all the fun that that entails. I must admit it has gotten much easier, not so much of a fight although it has been two weeks so it probably will be today! I enjoy having Jacob home, he is very good at entertaining himself. I miss his company during the day! I can't wait for Spring Break already!

ok, I'm the total opposite, can't wait to get the kids out of the house! Amber is a good student and does her homework without any complaint-i'm blessed there. Madi and Liam love preschool, and I get to either help in Amber's class, go shopping, or take a nap! Madi and Liam are fighting more than ever now, so I enjoy those times when they are apart from one another.

Yes you would think it would be the other way around, I alway's knew you were a bit strange? But I understand because I've had the pleasure of trying to get Jacob to get moving for school in the morning, and it is not easy!

I feel your pain. I like that the kids are out of the house, but getting up at 5:30am so they can be to the bus by 7am is awful!! And now my youngest daughter started preschool today, so I have time to myself and I must say... I hated it!! I never thought I would but it was so hard not having at least one kid home with me!! So I understand the seperation anxiety!! -- Nikki 2

I guess I understand, but anytime there is one less kid at home here I am happy.

I'm definitely with Cari on this one!

You're such a nice mom to prefer Jacob being home!

I hear you Nikki! It's sad to see 'em go and for us all to get back to the grind of structure.
