Benjamin Gary Fenske!

Whenever you say your childrens full given name it's usually not good. Let me tell you this morning was really bad! I can not believe my little "totals". He intentionally pushed over the Christmas tree! I couldn't believe it.Luckily it's fake and there are no super fragile expensive ornaments on it. I didn't know what to do. I yelled, spanked, and sent him to his room then cried. Lucas was so cute he was patting me "don't cry mommy, I'll clean it up" and started hanging the ornaments back up, all on the same branch but I appreciated the help. I tell ya if it's not one it's the other or the other. Will there ever be peace in this house? Forget peace on earth I just want a little in my home this holiday season. j/k. Anyways I'm glad it happened here and not at someone else's house. Hopefully it won't happen again, Are you ready for us mom? ha-ha!

It's nice to hear that my kids aren't the only ones that do CRAZY things! Hopefully none of your "sentimental" ornaments (or your precious angel) were injured in the fall. It sounds like you reacted EXACTLY the same way I would have reacted. In fact, it is the way I reacted when Isaac pulled down the stockings (along with the heavy weights) and chipped the granite (luckily it's not really noticeable) around the fireplace. And Isaac is SIX, you'd think he'd know better! Anyway, I laughed at your post because the way Lucas reacted is exactly how Noah reacts when I lose it with Isaac. So funny!

That is so crazy. I thought it was bad that Austin bit a light bulb when I was checking Christmas lights the other night. Good luck. I hope he doesn't do that again.

Nikki, I love your posts! They are the best! So sorry about your tree. I just laughed and then wanted to cry with you, because it so relatable. My little ones have been throwing them to the ground like they are baseballs. Hayley slung a yo yo around so fast, it smacked Luke's favorite keepsake ornament from his birth year and he balled. Luckily I found another on e-bay that I'll have Hayley give him for Christmas. And for Lucas to run to your aid, now that's a tender mercy!

whoever came up with the idea of having a christmas tree inside a home obviously did not have little kids.
